Initially, this project began as a static design collage curated from various photographic assets. Over the course of the project, I saw the value in crafting this into a short motion graphic with chaotic elements materializing to the beat of a soundscape.

I used footage I filmed of a fish tank as a base, and layered four different effects to create this fishbowl slot machine. I pieced together a grungy soundtrack to accompany the visuals from Yaunnick Daubys' “Side B” track, which I heard on a local radio station, and
various SFX chops from Mortal Kombat.
